All abstract submitters are kindly requested to book their accommodation to ensure availability of their preferred accommodation. June is the height of the tourist season in Netanya. There is a limited number of rooms available in the Wingate campus hostel and a number of hotels which offer special rates for congress participants in the city of Netanya (Congress hotels). Shuttle service will be provided to and from congress hotels during the days of the congress.

Sailing with a Disability
A unique workshop will demonstrate the activity at the Michmoret marine center (about 20 km north of the Wingate Institute), in which children and youth with autism are exposed to boating, including rowing and sailing activities. Specific skill acquisition and self-confidence developed during this environmentally rich activity will be discussed with workshop participants who will accompany the young people's activity in the sea.

Virtual Reality
Reduced mobility and falls are common among persons with neurological disabilities such as stroke. Virtual Reality (VR) platforms which are increasingly being used within the rehabilitation setting provide a safe and motivational intervention modality and can also be harnessed for motion assessment. The workshop will expose the participants to new intervention programs and assessment tools such as SeeMe and Timmocco, utilizing VR with or without additional equipment such as the treadmill

Video and Film Contests
A closed Facebook group has been established to which all videos and photos of the contest will be uploaded. Abstract submitters are invited to upload videos and photos. Abstract submitters are also invited to enter the group and vote for their preferred video and photo.

Keynote Abstracts Available Online: Cheri Blauwet
Dr. Cheri Blauwet is a former Paralympic athlete in the sport of wheelchair racing. She competed in three Paralympic games (Sydney 2000, Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008) and won a total of seven medals. She is a graduate of the Stanford School of Medicine where she specialized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She now serves as the Chairperson of the International Paralympic Committee's Medical Committee

Theater Show: Me and Lior (Hebrew: My Light) on the Way to the Light
On the first day of the symposium a unique show will be performed, in which a family describes the long and challenging process of educating and developing a child with autism syndrome. The child has grown up and is now a charming young man who is physically active, and socially committed.
